The Popcorn Muncher Podcast: Episode 118 – Is Searching the best of the computer screen movies?

We’re taking on some very different movies on this week’s Popcorn Muncher Podcast, hosted by Patrick Wilson, with Luke Stevenson and Tom Beasley – editor of The Popcorn Muncher.
There’s a wide variety of movies up for review this week, including the epic, beautiful Polish romance Cold War and Leigh Whannell‘s take on Cronenberg and Black Mirror in Upgrade. We also travel back to 1980s London for Idris Elba‘s directorial debut Yardie and on to John Cho‘s computer screen for the genuinely gripping mystery thriller Searching.
In the news section, we discuss the Academy’s decision to postpone their Oscar for Popular Film and the latest trailer for the new Halloween sequel, as well as bidding a sad farewell to movie icon Burt Reynolds. To round things off, Patrick leads a quiz based on movies about missing persons.
