We got behind the microphone within minutes of the Oscars 2018 coming to an end for this special Popcorn Muncher Podcast, hosted by Luke Stevenson, with Tom Beasley – editor of The Popcorn Muncher.

We take a look at the big winners and the big losers, from The Shape of Water‘s Best Picture win to the joy of Jordan Peele scooping Best Original Screenplay for Get Out. Meanwhile, it was Frances McDormand who stole the show, with just about the only speech that recognised the significance of the current Time’s Up movement on a night packed with safe jokes.

Hopefully, this all makes sense. We’d been up for almost 24 hours by the time we recorded it. For my views on the ceremony in written form, take a look at this article.
