This week, there’s a new British drama out called Journey’s End, set in the cramped trenches during the First World War. It’s an evocative and powerful movie, led by Sam Claflin in one of his most memorable cinema outings to date. That prompted me to get in front of the camera to chat about my five favourite Sam Claflin performances in his career so far.
He is one of the most compelling and versatile actors working today and has done great things since making his big screen debut in the dreadful Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides before breaking out as Finnick in the Hunger Games franchise. This video is a celebration of some of his non-franchise work, from playing a destructive posh boy to a lovelorn best friend.
