Luke Stevenson is back in the host’s chair for the latest Popcorn Muncher Podcast and he is joined by Tom Beasley – editor of The Popcorn Muncher.

We review a trio of films, sneaking into cinemas before the blockbuster deluge of the summer. Most notably, there’s British wartime drama Their Finest, starring Gemma Arterton and Sam Claflin as filmmakers producing rousing propaganda during the Second World War. We also review James Gunn‘s hatefully violent office block horror movie The Belko Experiment and trashy thriller Unforgettable, starring a returning Katherine Heigl. In honour of that movie, we also list our top five evil women in cinema history.

In the news, we discuss the first trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle, the casting of Timon and Pumbaa for The Lion King and Disney’s release date shuffle, as well as the shocking news that David Fincher could helm a sequel to zombie actioner World War Z.

To mark the first anniversary of the podcast a few weeks ago, we created a trio of bingo cards so you can play along with our podcast in-jokes and quirks. Let us know in the comments if you’ve had a go!
