There’s blockbuster, magical debate on this week’s Popcorn Muncher Podcast, hosted by Luke Stevenson with Tom Beasley – editor of The Popcorn Muncher.

We review JK Rowling and David Yates‘s latest foray into the Wizarding World with Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. There’s also time for a look at two major horror releases from opposite ends of the spectrum, from the splattery silliness of Hell Fest to Luca Guadagnino‘s distinctly arthouse-flavoured remake of the classic horror movie Suspiria, starring Dakota Johnson and Tilda Swinton.

In the news, we discuss the first teaser footage from Disney’s new take on The Lion King and the latest trailer for the sequel to The Lego Movie. We also take a quick look at the nominees for the Independent Spirit Awards, which marks one of the opening salvos of awards season. The final section, to mark Movember’s male mental health awareness, features the top five movies that made us cry.
