The curtain has finally come down on the BFI London Film Festival 2018, which has brought dozens of the world’s most exciting movies to the British capital for two weeks of early mornings, excessive caffeine and pretentious cinema conversations in press queues.

To have a look back at the best and the worst of the festival, I had a chat with critic Kelechi Ehenulo about her top five movies of LFF, as well as some of the biggest disappointments. We also review the final few movies that screened for critics, including comedy biopic Stan & Ollie, poetic romance If Beale Street Could Talk, Netflix historical epic Outlaw King and Yorgos Lanthimos‘s scabrous royal comedy The Favourite.

Click here to read reviews of all of the movies I’ve seen at LFF 2018.
