The Popcorn Muncher Podcast – LFF 2018 #1 with Alistair Ryder

The BFI London Film Festival 2018 is now in full swing, with dozens of movies screening every day in the capital, from indie oddities to major awards contenders and, of course, the best of British cinema.
I caught up with critic Alistair Ryder to have a little chat about the first few movies that played at the festival, including Steve McQueen‘s stylish thriller Widows, which opened the festival. We also chat about Keira Knightley in period drama Colette, Boots Riley‘s long-delayed Sorry to Bother You and the world premiere of the new Ben Wheatley movie Happy New Year, Colin Burstead.
Click here to read reviews of all of the movies I’ve seen at LFF 2018.
