Blumhouse horror sequel Insidious: The Last Key is arriving on Blu-ray and DVD in the UK this Monday, just a few months after it stunk out cinemas on the way to a surprisingly solid box office total. To mark its release, I took a second look at the movie to see if it holds any previously hidden rewards on a second viewing with its story of Elise (Lin Shaye) and her childhood demons resurfacing in her ghost-hunting career.
Here, I give my thoughts on the film and discuss where the Insidious franchise sits within the world of Blumhouse, as well as taking a look at the chances of a fifth film in this seemingly endless saga of spooks.
