It’s another special interview edition of the podcast this week, focused around the innovative green screen take on Macbeth created by British filmmaker Kit Monkman. The film hit cinemas for one day only earlier this year, but is now available on all of the major VOD platforms.

Monkman’s version of Macbeth is a visually bizarre, theatrical spin on the material, aided by a tremendous cast. I got the chance to chat to him all about constructing that unique visual style, as well as putting together the cast to take on such iconic roles and whether he was nervous to adapt a story previously filmed by the likes of Akira Kurosawa and Roman Polanski.
