A bizarre comedy about the worst movie ever made arrives in time for this week’s Popcorn Muncher Podcast, hosted by Luke Stevenson with Tom Beasley – editor of The Popcorn Muncher.

We review the Christmas drama The Man Who Invented Christmas, in which Dan Stevens portrays a dashing Charles Dickens, and Jacob Tremblay stars in heart-warming drama Wonder. Our main discussion focuses on The Disaster Artist, in which James Franco is the bizarre auteur behind cult classic ‘so bad, it’s good’ movie The Room. Inspired by that film, we list our top five movies we like, despite the fact they’re widely hated by others.

The news section begins with the revelation Dexter Fletcher has taken over from Bryan Singer as the director of Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. We also chat about the bizarre news double bill of Quentin Tarantino making a Star Trek movie and Ryan Reynolds doing the voice of Pikachu.
