Marvel’s most famous superhero is back in the fold on this week’s Popcorn Muncher Podcast, hosted by Patrick Wilson with Luke Stevenson and Tom Beasley – editor of The Popcorn Muncher.

The reviews section focuses on Spider-Man: Homecoming, in which Tom Holland‘s webslinging hero is inducted formally into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Unfortunately, Michael Keaton is there as the Vulture to make things considerably harder for this take on Peter Parker. There’s also a review of independent horror movie It Comes at Night, starring Joel Edgerton.

In the news, we talk about Daniel Craig‘s potential future as James Bond and Quentin Tarantino‘s upcoming project based on the Manson murders, as well as the news that Jaume Collet-Serra may be in the frame to direct the Suicide Squad sequel. We debate whether there’s a limit to how many times a franchise or character can be rebooted and there’s a quiz at the end.
