It’s a jam-packed show on the latest Popcorn Muncher Podcast, hosted by Patrick Wilson with Luke Stevenson and Tom Beasley – editor of The Popcorn Muncher.

We briefly talk about the new trailers for superhero movies Logan and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Then, in a bumper review section, we take a look at four recent releases. First, there’s the evocative and uplifting road movie American Honey and searingly angry benefits drama I, Daniel Blake. Then, things get seriously weird with oddball horror The Greasy Strangler before crashing back down to earth with the terribly dull Tom Hanks mystery thriller Inferno.

At the end of the show, Patrick leads a quiz in which he might still be a little bit upset about what happened last week. We also run down the number two entries in our countdown of our favourite movies of all time. If you’re enjoying the countdown, keep up with our list over on Letterboxd.
